Tire size?

I went with 285/55R20's I could not get a 100% rub issue at the time when I was installing so went down one size. I had the shop get both 295/55R20 and 285/55R20 before the install. Looked at them side by side and there is really not a noticeable difference between the two by eye. Told them to install the 285's and after install at check out the shop and I were caught by surprise that the 285's were approx. $50 more per tire. He called the tire supplier on speaker phone and they said not as many or ordered so cost more. That's my life sometimes.

How much outside the back fenders do the tires poke with that offset? And do you think you could have went with 295s without any rub?

I love these XD Grenade wheels. I was thinking getting these next season. I wanted to go big or go home. I was thinking 22" inches XD Grenade wheels with 305/40/R22 Nitto NT420S tires. What is the perfect offset with minimal rub or no rub? BTW I have a 2 inches lift Rancho Quicklifts up front. This will be my dedicated summer tire set. Thank you in advance !
