Default Tool Storage Solutions

Been trying to come up with more ways to store my tools, chain, straps and other stuff I have in my pickup since my toolbox is almost overflowing. Since it's a personal and work vehicle, I'd like it somewhat hidden but still lots of space. And of course, cheap... Also need to be able to load a quad in the bed for work.

I've seen the SwingCase but they're pretty expensive. Any ideas would be great so feel free to post up any pics or links

I don't know where else to put stuff if your seat and bed is already taken up.

Yup, I'm kinda stuck. I'll probably replace the toolbox with a bigger one eventually, was just hoping someone had figured something out.

If you need extra storage that is removable you could always get one of those baskets that goes in your hitch and put a tool chest mounted in it. Something like this maybe...

You could get a deeper toolbox or build some kind of box to go under the tool box if yours is the kind that sit on the bed rails and not on the bed itself.

Looks like a great idea but I wouldn't trust anything expensive in one of those things.

That's kinda what I've been thinking of too. I have a cheap low profile toolbox because that's all they had when I needed it. Probably upgrade to a bigger, better built box and make some drawers under it or something.

That and if you have to tow a trailer, I can't imagine it's super light either, especially if full of tools.
