2017 King Ranch, Leveling -- Spacer Size Question.
Hoping someone can help. I've read a number of threads here but haven't come to a firm conclusion on this re: leveling kits.
I'd like to level my '17 KR. I've measured out my truck to be -- rear: 40-1/4i, front 37-3/8i from ground to bottom of wheel well. Mathematically, it seems like a 2.5 spacer kit would be the easy way to go and is what the shop I'll be working with has recommended.
Where I'm stuck is that there's a fair amount of photos where 2.5i kits appear to make the truck look nose high. I understand in some cases it may be a function of the slope of the ground, angle a photo is taken at, and age of installation. On the flip side, the photos of the 2i kits I've seen consistently appear to be more dead-level.
I'd like to avoid doing this twice, so hoping someone can share some experience in this area. Is 2.5 the way to go, or would 2i help avoid the nose-high perception? Did anyone go with 2.5i and regret it .. and vice versa?
My son put Halo lifts 0-3 in coil overson his 15 KR. They come preset to 2 3/4 in. We lowered them approx. 1/8th to make it level. Now that the springs have settled the need to come back up for perfect level. I just got a 17 KR and I ordered the same. More money but you can do the install.

I went with a 1.5" level because I wanted to keep a very slight rake, both technically and visually. To my eyes, a 2" level visually makes the truck appear dead level, whereas a 2.5" level makes it appear slightly nose high. Here is my truck with a 1.5" level.
