Thanks for posting this tmcolegr.
I like the looks of 15'-17' lights better as well (and had upgraded to LED from stock halogens). However I agree with the concerns over rear visibility so eventually I will give this a shot.
Is the difference that significant in rear visibility? I know the 18' lights double the surface area of light from the tail lights, but they are still just narrow horizontal strips.
Also, do the 18' tail lights stick out less from the body? The two boxy bumps on the 15'-17' lights always seemed odd.

My primary interest in these 18' lights is the better rear visibility at night. You said they do have better visibility, and I was hoping you would have more info on that (ex. others have given you feedback that your truck is easier to see from behind, you've noticed that in inclement weather the tail lights are much more visible, etc). Unfortunately I can't see how these look after dark by going to a dealership.
The other asks about the red/orange color and shape were out of curiosity. Thanks for confirming that this swap works.

PS: the 2018 BLIS As Built data is very different than the 2015-17.
