One the tiresize.com calc.....moving from my stock 275/55/20 to 295/60/20 is the same equivalent of dropping the gear from 3.73 to 3.55....pretty significant....and that's not a 35''

comments?
I have 3.31's and 35's and yes I took a small hit in performance. To be honest though, I never tow anything and don't drive my truck like I stole it. The few times I'll romp on it, the truck still has plenty of go. I have zero issues with it.

I just wanted to share mine with you guys since it had the same tire specs. I have the 3.55 gears, added an SCT x4 tuner to help out and it drives great.
- ReadyLift 7"
- Nitto Trail Graps 37x13.5x20

2015 F150:
Ready Lift 7" Lift
Fuel Coupler 20x10 -24 offset
37x13.50x20

Rubs front and rear. Deleted the crash bars. Trimmed the front stock bumper and lower rear trim. Had to trim the splash cover in front of the tires a lot too.

Hammered some of the front end to the clearance needed also.

Yes low end suffers. I had 35’s on with a 5.0 motor and 3.31 gears. Truck felt like it was constantly under a load. I stepped up to 3.73 gears and the truck moves out great now. I can accelerate up to speed by barely touching the throttle whereas with the 3.31 again, the motor was laboring. I also gained about 3 mpg city. I’m getting 16mpg now on e85. I highly reccomennd re gearing.

Went from 33" tires on a 2" level with 3.31 stock gears to 37" tires on 7" lift with 4.10 gears. The final equivalent gearing is essentially 33" with 3.71 gears.

Definitely feel the difference. Not so much on the low end but on the high end definitely feels much slower despite the 3.71 equivalent gearing.

MPG went from 15-16mpg to now a paltry 12.5mpg with the lift and 37". With E85 I'm seeing 10.5mpg but I'm driving without a front chin guard which I'm certain should add at least a mile or so per G.

Don't go 37"... not worth it but if I had to do it again I'd do it in a heartbeat lol
