Went from 33" tires on a 2" level with 3.31 stock gears to 37" tires on 7" lift with 4.10 gears. The final equivalent gearing is essentially 33" with 3.71 gears.
Definitely feel the difference. Not so much on the low end but on the high end definitely feels much slower despite the 3.71 equivalent gearing.
MPG went from 15-16mpg to now a paltry 12.5mpg with the lift and 37". With E85 I'm seeing 10.5mpg but I'm driving without a front chin guard which I'm certain should add at least a mile or so per G.
Don't go 37"... not worth it but if I had to do it again I'd do it in a heartbeat lol
Acceleration is more about torque and the 5.0 Coyote is not really known for sub 4K power. Factor in the fact that peak torque is lower than the Ecoboost then it's pretty much expected that big tire performance suffers.
For aftermarket, the 5.0 is a better platform for boosting which I'm intending on doing very shortly.
I'm curious what is your gas mileage with that combo?
I'm getting around 15.5 mpg, combined. I drive 100 miles roundtrip highway everyday for work.
The SCTx4 tuner did wonders for my gas mileage, speedometer, and power after putting on the large tires and lift.
Recently got 37x13.5x20 ridge grapplers. These are on 20x10 -24 wheels. Spaced the front bumper out a half inch, swapped the crash bars (didn't cut them), and had to do a good amount of cutting behind the front tires.
Also has 4.56 gears now too.
This is on a 7" Readylift with a RAS that increases the rear height another inch.

nice!!! I got the same lift, running Nitto Trail Grapplers 325/60/20 on Fuel Rebel and 1.5” add a leaf in the rear. No cutting rear crash bars but did have to trim the front crash bars. How’s the 4.56 with 37’s. I’m waiting to do the same, which Gears(brand) did you go with? I also used Hypertech to get my speedo spot on with GPS. Great looking set up!

Thanks, you too!
Go with Revolution gears if you can get them. They were out of stock when I was looking, so I ended up with Nitro, who claims their gears are made in South Korea, which is the best place you can get them right now.
The 4.56 are perfect for 37s. Actually gained a small amount of mpg over 3.55 with 35s and have a more aggressive mechanical advantage.
