Ive got a 2015 Lariat 501a with a 5.0L engine. It has the plug under the dash for the collision alert HUD. Already plugged that in and it lights up when I start the car.
Anyway, what I don’t know is whether I have power going to the CCM at the harness connector, given my trim level. I’d like to test that by plugging in the new harness and the ACC sensor and looking in FORScan. Do I need to do anything other than plug it into the harness (both ends), cycle the ignition and open FORScan to get FORScan to at least “see” the CCM in the list of modules?
Thanks in advance, Brian
Yeah that'll work to test it. Just make sure you click no when FORScan brings up your VIN profile from previous connection attempts so that it looks for the new CCM.

Thanks. So if I plugged it in, connected FORScan, answered no to FORScan when it read the modules, and I have no module called “CCM,” I probably need to find a way to run power to the CCM, right?
My harness has connectors for the fog lights and the CCM only. No louvers or BOV, etc.
if anyone has thoughts on how to get power to the harness, let me know

I did this on a 502a and had power. All I needed was the new front harness. I bet you will find the same.

Question Lane keep assist

2018 F-150 lariat 502a 2.7 eco-boost with adaptive cruise control. Using FORScan software can you turn on the lane keep assist and does it require more hardware other than what is included with the adaptive cruise control package?

It can be done but you'd need the IPMA (rear view mirror camera) & a Lane Keep Assist switch. See this thread for info: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/addin...t-502a-372650/

It'll actually be listed as C-CM but if you don't see it then you probably don't have the power/ground wires going to C134 like was discussed on the previous page of this thread.

Yes, I saw that discussion, but I didn't see in detail how it was resolved. The XLTs with the EB engines tapped into the louver power, from what I understand, but I don't think I've got louver power in my harness, since the only connectors in the ACC harness for my engine are for each foglight and the CCM module. I guess I could start checking for switched power at the chassis side of the harness and see what there is...

Take a look at the diagram for the C134 connector Livnitup posted on the last page and see whats populated in your connector, worst case if you have a multimeter you could check voltage on some of the pins?

Update:
I have a total of six wires (see pics running to the connector on the chassis side. None show 12v with the ignition on but fogs, etc. off. There is clearly a yellow/blue wire in the harness that connects to nothing on the chassis side. I assume that is power for the CCM, though the wiring for the connectors doesn’t obviously line up with the C134 pdf posted on the previous page. It would seem then that I need to get 12v switched power to the CCM. This is not area in which I have much experience, so I’m open to suggestions. Thanks!

That "looks" like the correct plug configuration, gnds on 8 and 15 and what looks to be CBBBO (YE-BU) on pin 10, disconnect the connector and CAREFULLY check voltage on pin 10 with "key on" and if its there you should be good to go once you put the new harness in?
