I just watched that Tesla video and my palms were sweaty and I was holding my breath the whole time. I have no clue how anyone could sit back and "relax" with the car driving them like that. Maybe someday when it's as common as having the full internet on our phone (that seemed crazy 20 years ago)

From my understanding thats only if you want to include stop and go with ACC. Normal ACC is thought to be same parts. I have a 2018 XLT and Im going to try it out, but Im on the hunt for a new or used 2017 CCM (distance censor).

I would also like the list of parts needed for 2018 F-150.

Remember that video is NOT real time, it's sped up 3X for the WOW factor. I can link a real time video if you'd like.

[QUOTE=Like2Hike;5816544]Watch this 2016 video and you'll realize the technology is already here, and you don't even need white lines on both sides. 90% sure that's Mobleye software, not Tesla v2. Not failsafe, Mobleye ran a red light few weeks back, no crash, just reporters in the back seat

I just want to know when we can send the Truck down to get serviced by itself

I think there is a common thread to these crashes going back to Josh Brown in Florida. The rear ended fire trucks and the barrier you mentioned. In most/all cases there was a vehicle in front which quickly moved to another lane to avoid the stopped/stationary object. The Tesla software was left flatfooted.

My take is the forward radar is seeing the objects but the software is not correctly understanding the input. That's where Waymo is so far ahead. Not only do they have millions of miles of field data but they take that data as an input for their simulators which run 10X the miles.
