dammit

Fixed it for you.

Really big thanks to all the contributors here, I'm really excited about adding ACC to my truck but I've hit a snag - I have a 2015 Lariat 502a 5.0l and I have all the parts except the harness.

I'm being told FL3Z-15K867-F is out of stock in North America, could be a month or more away.

Can I use the B harness that is specified for the 3.5l? I can't remember which truck has extra accessories run off this harness.

As a side note, although the parts websites say that the E harness has the distance sensor, it does not have the distance sensor plug.

If the connector in the attached PDF is available you could add 4 wires to your existing harness - it wouldn't be that difficult to do.

Thanks for that info...I have a 2.7 & was going to get the "E" harness - guess I'll try the "B" harness now...speaking of which, my thinking is that it would work for you... It would have an extra connector for the lower louvers that you don't have though

...or as stated above me , you could make your own.

Are you sure? Memphis is showing one and Michigan is showing 2 actually. Might want to check with AN Ford White Bear.

That would be correct sir. Astute observation

So thinking about the re-upgrade, ped detection uses an IPMA and I don't have one. I am not sure if someone has successfully retro'd one in their non IPMA-equipped truck yet. Looking at the diagrams, it certainly does not look as easy as this mod.

I found a "B" harness locally, it worked, you're right I just have the extra connectors, no problem.

Really not necessary, just pointing out some misleading information that might cause others trouble.

Completed install today on the 5.0l, big thanks again to everyone contributing, the writeups with pictures were really helpful and being able to calibrate the sensor with Forscan is awesome, no dealer needed. I was able to install the harness without bumper removal, I'm thinking we have more room to work on the 5.0 trucks vs the ecoboost.
