The LED's in the license plate lamps are causing glare when the lens isn't clean/dry. Trying to park at work in the mornings is a chore when it is dark and raining. You can barely see the lines in good conditions.
can’t wait for the guide!

Whelp, I was on the fence about it, but I reckon I am making one now... Be patient with me as I have a 16 month old at home. She is the 2.0 version of me. Which means she is like a little velociraptor figuring **** out in an excruciatingly annoying rate, with an abundance of energy. Wife pretty much taps out about the time I get home.

is another mod I recently made to my pickup, for the second time now. I suggest using the zip tie they provide it with. The first one I got fell out. Which is actually when I decided to to do the relay license plate thing. I thought it might have been stolen. Had the owner check the security cams at work. After we watched me back into spot, drive out, and pull back in about four times he started to make fun of me a bit. I thought it was pretty sad, too. Anyways.. It even comes in a blue oval version!

always using what I have on hand - I had an old 5th wheel latch puller in the barn from my trucking days - works great! Can be had for less than $10 at any truck stop.

Had mine installed since April 2017 from when someone mentioned them near the beginning of this post. They are great.

Default Bed Grabber

I figure every man needs to keep a ho on the side, so I keep a kids garden hoe in the bed of my pickup for reaching stuff.

OK, it's just a stick, but it's a stick with a hook on it.

hook on a stick

fits in the bed

grabs stuff

Very helpful to retrieve items that have slid forward, out of reach. This is especially helpful when there is a cover on the bed. If the cover is a Peragon like mine, you know that the front of the bed must be clear in order to open the cover. So the stick will save the ignominy of having to crawl in the bed to fetch something.
And the price? This was stuff I had laying around, so already paid for but can't imagine spending more than $10 if you bought the parts new.
