Default Stainless black Exhaust tip

I wanted to post one of my favorite mods and it was only $20. I found the Go Rhino GRT3410B Black Stainless Steel Universal Exhaust Tip on amazon warehouse deals for only $20 shipped. Normal price is only $35 so it still qualifies even at full price. Before I installed it I painted the exhaust with rustoleum high heat black to help with the look.

Painted the factory exhaust to blend in. Hard to see but that is the point!

I love the "Stealthy Look" VS the "Hey look at me Chrome Tailpipe Look"-->

I painted mine with high temp engine paint too. Love the look at it's held up for quite a few months now. Super easy mod that costs a can of paint

I added the $25 stubby antenna from Amazon and love it.

Just ordered the console organizer and plan to do the phone cord relocation. Love this thread!

You guys are killing me with the Stubby. Everyone getting them so cheap. On Amazon.ca its literally priced at 231.00 (but will ship free with Prime) lol.
Priced it out off the Craven speed website, but will still cost about 50 Cad after shipping. More than I'm willing to pay.

I don't know if a stubby will whistle or not.

Here is a link to their site (you're looking for a Fuba style):

Thanks Jart,

Yes, as a forum vendor we welcome any Antenna questions or concerns as we have been an antenna specialist since 1999.

Just go to local auto store, autozone has literally 7 different versions, rubber, metal, smaller ones that look like the stock type too. I paid 11.99 for a slightly larger rubberized stubby one.

anything over $30 is insane for an antenna! I think people forget not everything has to be had online. Stores do still sell these products

Correct, there are many retail stores that have a large selection of antennas.

Our masts are all under $30 dollars and some slightly more than $11.99. In short, you get what you pay for.

In the years of selling antennas we have slowly revised and improved our product, offering antennas at the quality level of a factory expectation. We have found that a lot of antennas look great in the package, though through time they bend easily as they are constructed of materials similar to that of a coat hanger. We chose to make our masts out of spring steel, stout materials. A lot of antennas are supplied with brass threading which is weak and snap with little pressure, we use 304 stainless steel threading cut here in the USA. Our 6 ¾” short antenna is one that is designed and engineered in Germany. Our goal was to slam as much copper internally so that we can offer the F150 a short antenna option that uses materials that are highly conductive; aiding in improved reception despite being so short. So yes from the outside it is just an antenna, but with anything there is always a way to make something better. That’s our daily challenge with antennas.

Don’t want to overwhelm this thread with antenna talk so feel free to PM.

Happy upgrading guys!!!
