May I ask you if the BFG are quieter than the Hankooks? People are telling me that those tires are crap, but I'm not so sure. Yes, they're not a big name, but want opinions on them. I'd replace them with the same size (275/55/20), since I don't want even higher 'gearing', by increasing the circumference even a little bit. And I don't need to have a taller tire, to be honest. Bought the truck with FX4 to have the extra cooling here in the hot desert, but an unfortunate change was A/T tires, rather than A/S. What is the real difference between them? I was relieved they don't make that much noise on the highway, at least on smooth asphalt. On grooved concrete, they do, but probably any other tire would do as well. I'd mainly use the truck for highway travel with a motorcycle on the bed. Is it a suitable tire for that use? I wouldn't want any heavier or noisier tire, so just wondering if when the Hankooks crap out, the BFGs would be a suitable replacement. Like my buddies told me, an A/S tire would look weird on a 4x4 truck with the FX4 package, but if there're no real drawbacks to have them, then I'd continue buying them. Just want to know which would be the best tire for my non off-road needs but still A/T. Thanks.
