True and I didn't realize you were powder coating these. The price makes sense now and it is a great idea!

This looks awesome. Stuff like this is exactly what I was hoping for from the boxlink setup.

Great Job, Toad!

Here's your next project! Design and build us an easily installed and removed "ladder rack" suitable for a couple of kayaks.

I would be willing to collaborate on something like this. I already have all the design software and fab shops lined up for other work I am doing.

OK, Twake, you and Toad figure it out and make it, I'll buy it and use it! I would love to be able to haul two yaks and a 4wheeler without a trailer! Several companies manufacture suitable cross members that would allow for installation of a variety of add-ons (tie downs, yak brackets, snow board/ski brackets). As soon as I saw the boxlink system, I was hoping someone would figure this out!

Finally something useful for the box link. Awesome price btw. I'll contact you about a bike rack when I get home from vacation and the kayak rack would be something else Id definitly be interested in. Currently I just use a hitch mounted bed extender. 13.5' kayaks suck no matter how you carry them though.

I've got an old truck rack I'm working on modifying to fit. It was made for a stepside though, so it's a bit narrow. I have to see if I can source some stainless threaded bar to extend it. The catch is that one side is reverse threaded.

If that doesn't work out for me, I'll hit you up!

Just to clarify, that's both rails with 4 mounts for $120?
