Couple things I just thought of.
My racks have skewers built into the mounts. It looks like yours require you to use the bike's skewer, right? Not a big deal, but one of my bikes has a 15mm thru axle. I have an adapter for it, but I'd have to supply a second skewer.
I might just buy a set of cheap skewers and leave them in the racks. Saves the trouble of pulling the skewers out of the wheels.
Is the distance between the boxlink mounts the same for both the 5 1/2' and 6 1/2' beds? I have a 6 1/2' bed.

I had skewers in my rack that I left there and the problem
I ran into was rust. Between car washes and rain the extra skewers I bought were rusted in no time. So now I either use the skewer on the bike or for my fatbike I have an extra skewer but I put it in my seatback pocket instead of leaving it out to rust.
