Calling all crew cab owners…. Help me with this one
I purchased my truck in September. It came from Kansas City. On the driver’s side rear door area, down toward the bottom there are 2 indention's on the body. I believe the two screw heads from the door left impressions on the body of the truck. I thought this was only on my truck and basically a one off, then I saw pictures of another truck with similar indention's. I checked all door areas and I only have it on the driver’s side rear. Please do me a favor and let me know if your truck has these 2 indention's as mine does. If it does, please tell me what plant your truck came from. Lastly, would you get it repaired?
My Super Crew hasn't been delivered yet, but I can say that I'd be quite ticked if that were my truck. It's easy to see it's the screws doing it, but why? That's unacceptable, even if it is inside the door.
Just checked mine. The driver's side is fine, however the passenger side has a minor indent on the rear passenger door by the top bolt head. Interestingly, I have to slam the passenger side door more so than any other door.
Are your rear doors aligned properly? Both of my rear super crew doors are out of alignment. The bottom sticks out, and the top is pushed in, on both sides.

Makes you wonder if your door is "too tight." Striker plate maybe needs to be loosened or something similar? I'm definitely not the person to ask on this, but that would make sense, especially if you have to shut that door harder. Wonder if this is the same for the OP..?
