I agree on those dents happening prior to complete assembly and paint. No adjustment necessary at this point to correct.

I looked at a new Plat yesterday, built on 12/12. There is a faint single screw head dent in the right rear door opening. Same location as that which the OP identified. I slammed the door closed 6 times and the dent didn't worsen.
Best guess, careless assembly line workers are closing the door aggressively, prior to weatherstripping installation.

I would be willing to bet that anyone who pulled the gasket off and shut the door would have dents. As others have said, it is pre-paint and not that big of deal.
If one of your buddies asks what the dents are from, tell them the dents are there to strengthen the panel and it's designed that way!
