Does anyone else's bars rattle endlessly or is it just me?
i need to put some foam grommets in the holes to see if that quiets it

I haven't had any water issues. Had a full size fiberglass ARE cover on my last truck, and water/weather proof was one of the main considerations when purchasing a cover this time around. I've been extremely happy with my diamondback so far, and I didn't even install the extra strip of weather proofing that they include for the front of the bed.
Chris...my cover rattles pretty bad too, but I can only hear it when the rear slider is open. I've thought about putting in some grommets or bracing the lock-arms, just haven't gotten around to it yet. If I figure out a solution soon, I'll update this thread or send you a PM.

It's really annoying, sounds like my truck is falling apart. At first I thought it was the back seat, so I removed it and still there. Then I thought it was the dreaded sunroof issue, but I had some family here this weekend and they all said "it's the tonneau cover". I've gotta figure out something, I HATE my vehicles making rattling/grinding/creaking noises.

If you do, put some weight on top of the cover (a wife or kids would work)

You can then adjust it for no rattle.
And I check after every car wash, no water.

I bought mine yesterday. If you go to diamondbacks main site and go to the bottom of the page their is a selection for an outlet store. I purchased an HD that had been scratched in shipping and then repaired for $500 off original price with all the same warranty. They have a few SE's that have varying issues, like weather stripping issues, that for the discount could be very easily repaired if they haven't repaired already. I'll post pics when I get it in and installed but it will look just like the Black Platinum on the earlier post.

Just bought my bed-liner black HD 6.5 about a month ago for my 2010 FX4. This thing is damn solid. It's like a vault to lock your stuff in. I also bought the 13" deep tool box that fits under the cab-side cover hatch.
However....thinking I might sell it. I've decided to go a different route for my next vehicle and want to trade in the 2010. Hopefully I'll be able to sell it without losing too much. Might not be much of a market as I believe it only will fit '09-'14 F150s.

it's not just you. My HD cover also rattles a lot. Only notice it when the rear window is open, but it's very annoying. I read on another Forum that they remedied the problem by placing some caulk along the support beams as they touch the underside of the cover. It appears that the widely spaced welds allow the cover to hit the support beams. I'm going to fix mine in the near future.
