^^^Exactally what he said ^^^^^^ This is a failure that likely you will never hear about again....As far as putting in greaseable joints again a waste of your money...Now if you really put on high miles maybe have the new shaft rejointed & balanced in say 4-5 years

Quick update
Dealership got to looking at it. Rear diff grenaded itself. Nothing but shrapnel. They’re stumped as to what happened. But with the extended warranty it’ll be covered. Only thing I can think of is the locker somehow engaged itself while I was accelerating

I do rack up miles! My previous truck was a 2011 F150 with the 3.7 v6. Sold that to my brother 2.5 years ago when I bought my current truck. When I sold it to him it had 397,xxx miles on it. He’s still driving It and it’s up to 421,xxx miles.
I bought my current one in September of 21 with 23,xxx miles and I’m currently around 118,xxx miles
