I've been satisfied with the U Pol Raptor a local body shop sprayed in for $400 18 months ago.

Last July, I paid right around $500 for Rhino-Liner on my '18 with a 5.5 bed. Different texture than the old style Rhino, but very similar to LineX, and the others pictured here.

As for pulling the drop-in liner, they have to scuff the entire area to be lined anyways, for proper adhesion. You'll be fine, but I'd consider a different place to take yours to, sounds like he's pretty inexperienced and not very familiar with what he's talking about.

I've always loved Line-X
Ask them about any cash-in-hand discount. I don't think I've paid over $500 for my 2 6.5" beds to be sprayed. Paid $450 to have the interior of my Jeep sprayed a number of years ago.

Price for LineX seems about right.

When I bought my truck, I negotiated them spray LineX at the local LineX place. I agreed to the "premium" which I believe just has added UV protection? Im not sure, but i have a tonneau cover so it doesnt see sun anyway.
But, It was about $500 bucks for it, I was given the invoice after the dealership took it there. Not sure if they were given any type of discount or had a deal worked out with them.

My LineX has held up great. I like it more than the other spray in bedliners. They also put a metal "LineX" plaque/logo thing in which looks pretty nice IMO.

Got my short bed Rhino'd for about 600 last week. The Line X group wanted 900 for the platinum version. Prices are a bit higher up here in AK.

I have the factory drop in liner in my 18. I like it because I don't care 1 bit about damaging or scratching it at all with my sled in the winter time or anything else I throw in there because it came with the truck free.

Love the looks of the line X and had always planned on getting it but wondering what the real world benefits are other than its less slippery. Thoughts?

Since these trucks went aluminum there's honestly prob not much benefit with line-x as opposed to the drop-in. My truck came with a completely bare bed and I just couldn't bring myself to leave it like that so I got the line-x haha. If it had come with a drop-in i'd have just kept it. I will admit though, it does look real nice:

The write-up sounds interesting, but how does a spray in bed liner protect against dents? If so, it should have been applied before the anti-Ford by Chevy commercial!

On another note, a spray in bed liner can be a lot easier on the knee caps than the deep grooves of a drop in liner. Bad knees know this!

The reflex spray in bed liner is actually around 500 so it's more expensive than LineX. If I do anything I guess I'll do linex but may just keep the drop in at this point.
