My suggestions:
  • Black lug nuts will really set the wheels off and help complete the look of the Black Package
  • Wheel well liners for the rear give a cleaner look, and make cleaning up the bed area a breeze. Penda liners for under $100 are a cheap, effective option.
  • You can quickly remove the FX4 decal on the bedside for a cleaner look (if you prefer).
Welcome and enjoy!
Of all the ways Ford cheaps out and chisels us for option money, the lack of wheel liners as standard content on anything above an XL is what bugs me the most.

I agree, I don't see what the big deal is, took barely 15 minutes to slap the in on my XL.

Totally agree with you. Lariats and above should come with them, if nothing else. They were waiting for the truck when I brought it home. Well worth the $80 from both a visual and a functional perspective.

Congrats! I'm usually not big on black wheel, but they look great on Velocity blue.

I agree. The 2012 Lariat FX4 with painted bumpers I just got rid of with 127,000 miles was like brand new except both bumpers were rusted, bubbled and nasty.

My favorite color (colour, so's not to confuse the Canadians ) is blue. However, I've always had red trucks. Comes from my youth, I guess, when all my Tonka trucks were red. But, I would make an exception and go with that blue if I was in the market. Cheaping out doesn't stop with the liners though, IMO, which are a $180 option from Ford of which I bought the same ones from Ford for $135. Go figure. As I said, the cheaping out also extends to the incompleteness of the 'black package' for not also putting on black lugs. I'm sure that will be remedied at some point. Beautiful truck. Tell us more about the option you have.

Any suggestions for modifications?

No mods needed! Looks fabulous just the way it is!!!

Congrats and sharp color combined with the blackout package. The suggestions by others nailed the upgrades. In addition to what has been listed, I added a leveling kit and bigger KO2s to my truck.
