With no intent to highjack this thread, I wanted to share my experience with installation and fitment of the exact same Borla Touring Catback w/Dual Rear Exit Exhaust as the OP - part # 140614BC. Vehicle specs are in my signature.

I intentionally did the installation under the worst of circumstances to prove it could be done - in my driveway with only the rear axle raised by driving up on a pair of 8" drive-on ramps. Additionally, I did NOT cut the muffler and tailpipe assembly to make the removal easier - removed the entire component in a single piece. Lastly, I performed the entire process by myself using only basic hand tools. Removal of the OEM muffler & tailpipe along with the front muffler (resonator) took about 20 minutes. Removing the muffler and tailpipe assembly from the vehicle in one piece by myself without damaging the brake line or other components was a real PITA !!

I wanted to share the only negative aspect of the installation. In the attached photo you can see the flange on the front muffler (resonator) is distorted from the welding process. This caused the hardware to be drawn together at an angle that prevented the attaching bolts from threading into the welded in nuts on the front muffler. The welding procedure also caused the M10 x 1.5 nuts to be drawn to a slightly smaller diameter preventing the installation of the 2 attaching bolts. I had to run an M10 x 1.5 tap in both of the welded in nuts and slot the flange on the OEM downpipe. The fix took about 45 minutes. I did use an air operated die grinder with a carbide bit to carefully slot the mounting holes in the flange on the OEM downpipe. This allowed the 2 attaching bolts to be threaded in by hand. Needless to say, I will be placing a call to Borla tomorrow.

The installation was slightly more challenging than the OP'ers as I have a B&M 9.75" rear differential cover which is approx. .840" taller than the OEM differential cover. This had me somewhat concerned as to whether there would be sufficient clearance between the rear differential cover, LH exhaust tube and heat shield for the spare tire.

The installation of the entire Catback exhaust took about 1 hour (not including the 45 minutes to repair the resonator previously mentioned). Then I spent the next 4 hours (no that's not a typo) fitting and aligning all of the components of the Catback exhaust until the alignment was absolutely perfect. Was that absolutely necessary? No, but I wanted the installation to look like a professional had installed it, not like it had been done by a teenager working on his first car.

Nonetheless here are the results. As you can see I have 1.000" of clearance between the LH exhaust pipe and rear differential cover and about .500" clearance between that same exhaust pipe and the heat shield for the spare tire.
