^ actually that's incorrect.

726-01-01 0001 0101 0133
07+26+01+01+00+01+01+01+01=33

Custom settings will turn the steering wheel molten red.

I may have over exaggerated that last one a bit. I dont recall the exact stock temps but you can easily hook up ForScan and convert the HEX to ASCII for the exact temperatures using google or rapid tables.
I noticed today on the 2018 at least it seems like it has more then one temp. When it first comes on its full hot, but after 15 or 20min it almost seems like it turns itself down to a just warm setting.

Might be crazy, but that's what I noticed today.

Like XLT heated seats or your kitchen toaster, temperature in the steering wheel is controlled by an on off cycle. Its not going to control a perfect temp all the time I think. The heated steering wheel module in every modern Ford is the same part last time I checked.

Not sure I have the technical skills to tackle a couple of changes. Anyone in Central Minnesota willing to change a couple of things on my 2017 F-150 Lariat? Please PM me! Thanks!

When I checked my 2015 it was on high from the factory. And it was shipped to Florida, go figure.

Do we know if a tactrix OBD2 cable will work for the forscan?

If you have the Tactrix Openport 2.0 it may work using J2534 in FORScan. It's worth a try if you already own it.

Brilliant, This is the exact case. Will we have full access with only J2534 passthrough?

I have a different J2534 adapter and I can access/program all modules in FORScan but I can't speak for the Openport
