Thank you! I'll follow closely! Id be happy to test anything against my 2016 King Ranch if needed. Just let me know.

Auto means that when you remote start the truck will choose weather to turn on cooling or heating depending on the current ambient temperature.

Headlight settings! I like to run my headlights/fogs all the time Day/Night, What Im wanting to know if we can set the headlights to Auto OFF after we have cut the truck off, when the light switch is set to ON? I know it will auto off in Auto, but either way Im having to turn the dial to ON, so Ill have lights during the day. Just a small pain to have to turn lights ON/OFF every time Im going someplace, But this is what ForScan is for

Since you like to run them all the time, place the dial in AUTO & cover the sun sensor on the dash... voila, the truck thinks it's always dark & leaves the lights on....No FORScan required

Erm... I don't want to be a stick-in-the-mud--and maybe because I've got a milestone birthday tomorrow I just feel like one--but won't this also do other, less-desirable-in-the-daytime stuff? Like put the dash/displays in night mode, making it less readable in sunlight?

I think taping over the light sensor should be known as "Alaskan Winter" mode.

I believe that sensor does more than just turn on and off lights.

You are correct that "Alaskan Winter mode" would also place everything else in night mode....

It might make other changes, but they would all be related to light/dark I would think..

AC is what I believe was posted some time back, senses temperature?

That may be true for older generations, but the 15+ have an ambient temperature sensor below the IPC on the right side for AC readings
