Default intrusion sensor alrm setup adding to XLT

Well I went in changed many other bits in the BCM on other line differences I see from the XLT to the Lariat on up. No go at this point with Forscan. The only DTC I have is this one B109F:55 (not configured) from 726-39-02 x1xx xxxx xxxx it is the one directly related. I removed it and ran the BCM Lin network interconnect it would pass. IDS must do something else to BCM when doing a PMI process on the BCM perhaps. Scratching my head now....I would have thought that Forscan doing a write all would be the same as a PMI in IDS but that does not look like the case.

Is there a way to add an audible tone if BLIS is active and uit use the turn signal? I didn't see it in the spreadsheet.

Also, I saw we can not run the spotlights at any speed. Is it possible to raise the speed that deactivates then?

As Livnitup said, no... but if you bring the truck in for warranty service, say for a power folding mirror not working... and you previously used Forscan to enable the Lincoln style auto-fold mirrors... they may well say this caused over use of the mirror and they will not cover under warranty. SO, before you bring it in, restore your DDM & PDM modules to as-built first because all they have to do is lock/unlock the truck once and may well notice the mirrors moving all by themselves.

No on BLIS, and on the spots no with forscan but can be done with a wiring mod.

Default Adjust low fuel warning

Anybody know if you can raise the low fuel warning? Id like it to ding around 1/4 tank, as thats when i cant let it remote start idle in my 9* grade driveway without it cutting out.

Thanks

You're not going to screw anything up to the point of the truck not starting; after doing thousands of changes during testing in the various modules, I would've seen it by now if it were possible.
I would definitely want a backup of the trucks file...but I am just learning about all this and wanted to know what if something happened to that stock file. I would have a few jump drives loaded up in a safe the way my luck goes lol.

So how did you come across this...its very cool that your able to change all this stuff like this.

My XLT doesnt have any power fold (I will miss that from my FX4) so that wouldnt be a issue. One thing I do wonder is I want to change my headlights to LED or HID. Really I think putting some OEM LED headlights in would be nice...but doesnt that require some FORScan work? If so in that instance if I flash everything to stock my headlights wouldnt work?

I am getting DTC B109F not configured from the BCM. The changes I made are BCM 726-02-01 xxxx x1xx xxxx and 726-39-02 x1xx xxxx xxxx and IPC 720-02-02 58xx xxxx xxxx. Per the service manual its said to do a PMI from the BCM and reload back to the BCM. PMI is the same as an all read then write to the module in this case BCM. Also did a reset of the BCM but still no go. I was hoping I be able to do this and not take it to the dealer to use the IDS software.
Can anyone shed some light on this one. Maybe I am missing some other bit change? I think at one time I saw 2016BlueGreyGoose did it but I think he did use the IDS software.
do you have the 8"cluster, i have the sensors all wired ( and made the change at 726-02-01 xxx xx*xx xxxx Security Cfg: 0=none, 1=both, 2=inclination, 3=intrusion ) but couldn't get it working, chalked it up to only having the 4.2.

i didnt try

726-39-02 x*xx xxxx xxxx Slave Exists CSM Cfg: 0=absent, 1=present

but i did try every digit at the first bit on my 4.2 with no change observed

720-02-02 0xxx xxxx Alarm menu missing from advanced settings, vehicle

Yes I have 8 inch cluster and yes the value at 39-02 on the BCM is part of it. Also on the IPC 02-02 5xxx xxxx xxxx. Still trying to find out may be other changes . Have a PM into BBG. For he did do this on his XLT with IDS. But he has not replied yet. I am hoping to see what change are in his BCM and the PMI process when he did it.

I've deleted the pm since but a few months back I asked and he said a few changes and initialized with ids, he wasn't very specific, hope you get this figured out, when I bought the superduty upfitter switches i ordered with the sensor hoping to get them working

Hope that he does get back to see if any other changes I am not seeing on the BCM. And if I have have all the correct changes, still possiable with Forscan.
