The light is only on for a couple of mins, then goes out. Also the chimes are off.

Oh cool, I was just testing it parked in my driveway so I guess I didn't give it enough time.

Yes, i saw that but was wondering if there is a better list than what is posted there. Obviously it is designed to do more.

What is FORScan?
FORScan is software used in conjunction with a specific type of ODBII adapter that enables you to make changes to your truck's default modules' settings. Some popular things that can be changed are: adding heated and/or cooled seat icons & heated steering wheel to Sync 2 (pic1, pic2) & Sync 3 (pic1, pic2) home screen & climate menu, disabling the Powerpoint 12V timeout or setting it to whatever you want, adding engine/trans temps above the gauge (pic), disabling the double honk, disabling DRLs, disabling the fake engine noise, changing heated steering wheel to full hot, enabling radio to be turned on with vehicle completely off (2015's).

Have you looked at my spreadsheets here? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...#gid=676187700

Everything we've found is documented there.

The Windows version is currently free because it's still in beta version but I'm sure it will cost money at some point.

Yes, that is what he and a couple others figured out but the spreadsheet shows all the changes known. If you goto the forscan web site then you can see all the other things such as diagnostics, module reset, monitoring real time, and DTC clearing. It doesn't allow you to do anything you can think of but does allow you to turn on or off some features as long as they are programmed into the module. They are writing a, "how to use the software" manual but haven't seen it out yet.
