So I ordered a OBDlink MX and hopefully that solves it.
That BAFX adapter can be retrofitted with a switch and will work with MS-CAN if you're up to it. Anyways, let me know because I've done it to a few of the BAFX adapters and think I still have a write-up on it.

Nope, the very first time, carefully naming and backing up each individual module so as to have a complete backup.

Hi all, looking to get into FORscan and would like some advice so I buy the proper tablet and OBD adapter. All my tablets are Apple, so I need to buy one, specifically for this. Also, do you guys recommend a Bluetooth or usb obd adapter? Thanks in advance

I read thru this, thanks for creating it! I wasn’t sure if the Bluetooth or USB adapter was better. Your link for a tablet is for a $95 one off amazon, this is what I want I take it?

It goes to personal preference really. I would get a cheap laptop and the OHP USB adapter if I was starting out but that's because tablets always seem to annoy me and the USB adapters seem faster and more reliable to me than Bluetooth.

I have a USA spec 2018 XLT built in August 2018.
U.S. trucks remember which units it was using between restarts. Canadian trucks always default back to KPH, unless you get Livinitup to re-write them.

I found that write up. That's how I determined the BAFx wouldn't do MS-CAN. I already have an OBDlink coming in a few days. Thanks

Sorry for posting this here... but I'm hoping someone can help me out here.

Is there a Mustang Forum that has a thread like this one in regards to Forscan? How to use it, the different settings etc?

I was showing my bud (who owns '17 Stang) all the Forscan changes I've made and he was wondering if the same can be done with his.

Thanks guys, sorry the Off Topic post.

A search entering "mustang forscan spreadsheet" bought up a lot of info like this: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/thr...a-guide.61773/
Most are off the same forum and a quick check through them I saw a current spreadsheet: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/thr...ustangs.98260/
It looks like Livinitup's doppleganger at work!
