You should be able to see the DDM and PDM modules in FORScan. And if you are using the bbfly ODBII Scan tool, make sure you flip the switch as needed so all modules will be found. I can confirm this feature works on my XLT 302A package. As long as you have one button up/down windows, it should work.

Just to confirm this can be done on an XLT with 302A.
Breakers28, thank you for suggesting deleting the profile and rescanning. I did it today and it found all the modules so I was able to perform hill descent and auto fold mirrors today. Thank you again. I love this forum

If you enable the front camera in ForScan it will enable the front camera video feed in Sync 3 as you select through the video inputs by pressing the 360 camera button on the dash multiple consecutive times when traveling at low speed or stopped.

I can't remember, but I thought the dedicated front camera button only started in the 2017 model year.

Disabling the front camera in ForScan disables the front camera input into the video processing module and I'm nearly certain it also disables the self parking assist and the 360 view at the same time depending on what value you choose.

This has been confirmed to work on two F-150s as well as other ford models as well. I did not see it in this in the F-150 or superduty spread sheets

Change to:
x1xx xxxx xxxx

Some trucks may have different values in the other postions, but we have found changing the digit above to a "1" will allow the change regardless

The first two photos are of the headlight switch in the parking postion and headlight on postion BEFORE the change. The second two photos are with the headlight switch in the parking position and on position AFTER the change
I'm wondering what the reasoning was for not making them full brightness. Usually there's a reason. Maybe something in the halo's power feed doesn't live very long at the higher power output?

Oh well, I'll turn it back on in the spring.

Yeah, mine froze up too. I'm not going to play the enable/grind/disable game with the mirrors; I'll just disable it and do it manually.

Guess my question is why would the front camera be disabled from the factory if the truck has the camera? Sync 2 or Sync 3? I thought some early 2016 still had Sync 2.

in alot of cases, when the parking lights are on, that would normally indicate dusk/night time. Most if not all cars usually dim the super bright DRL when the headlamps/park are on as during the night, the DRL can be blinding to oncoming traffic. I know the DRL for my morimotos is super bright at max level and i would feel bad with that on top of fog/headlights for oncoming traffic at night. I mean i know it looks cool and it helps light up for the driver but can be bad for others..

When parking lights are off ie no headlamps they should switch to full mode for DRL running as its brighter out.

Default Forscan code for Lincoln sync3 screen

new to forscan and trying to set my sync3 screen to the Lincoln gold color. I have a 2017 F150XL XLT 302a options. My truck is white gold color and the Lincoln screen matches. Presently I have the settings app on my touch screen and can get 4 different Lincoln views but they go away on the key off and the next truck start.
thanks in advance for your help.
