is there an easy way to do this without returning the DDM and PDM modules completely back to As Built? I have the AB files saved, but not written down so I don't know what to change just to update this feature without changing everything else which uses the 'new" settings for those modules.

not a big deal to revert back to AB and then reconfigure if needed.

maybe I will revert to AB, then create a file for "winter" settings and another for "summer" settings. Is this what you do?

One thing i did when i forgot to take a snipit (screen print of the changes).. I knew what field references I changed. (the ones from the excel file) I just loaded up forscan, went into that module loaded all from the original saved file, went to those specifice ranges that were changed and took a screen shot of them.. or you can write them down.. then all you need to do is exit out of forscan without writing and you have your data and you didnt write them back over to the truck..

Also yes if you are going to be changing regularly, its much faster and easier to make/keep two sets for quick flashing back and forth. The only cumbersome process is if you make addtional changes, you will need to make sure you make them to both sets and resave the file.

I wrote down the values before I started just in case I messed up. When the winter hit and they started to mess up with the cold I just went back to the values I wrote down. I have not put them back to auto fold again because it is not really needed around where I normally drive. Look at the spread sheet and see what fields where changed. Go to your back up and open it in wordpad and look at those fields to see what the used to be write them down and there ya go.

Are you running the latest version of Forscan?
You might have an older version that does not have the 2018 signature in it.

I recommend that you update Forscan to the latest version from the website and try again.

Hey guys, can anyone confirm if the above statement is still true when adjusting the tire size in a 2016 or a 2015?

I saw that the 2018’s could do the relearn which updates the PCM and removes the DTC.

Thank you.

When I changed my tires from 18s to 20s I had to perform the PCM Module Initialization/relearn vehicle data to clear the persistent DTC on my truck

Thanks for all of your hard work on the tutorial and spreadsheets @Livnitup

I used the latest beta version of FORScan and the OBDLink MX+ to make the following changes to my 2019 F 150 KR:
  • Autofold mirrors (not Lincoln style) - I like that my mirrors now fold when I press the lock button on the handle and unfold when I touch the back of the handle to unlock. I had been hitting the switch for the last 6 years on my old 2013 F 150 KR every time I got in or out.
  • Enabled auto relock after 45 secs
  • Added heated and cooled seat icons to go with my existing heated steering wheel icon on the home screen
  • Disabled double honk
Would this be the line to update if I wanted the fog lights to come on with the auto headlights? (essentially auto fog lights?)
BCM - 726-27-01 xxxx x*xx xxxx Front Fog Auto Cancel Cfg: 0=no cancel, 1=cancel

Yes, once you set that to "no cancel" then after initially turning on the fogs with the headlights in the Auto position then the fogs should come on with the low beams on all subsequent instances unless you manually turn them off or use the high beams (if you don't have bambi mode set).
