No there is no control over the ambient lighting at all. Its something in the programming that has them dim to a very low setting when the truck is running, and them brightens to full power when you turn the ignition off. But in sync there is no controls, and the cabin dimmer switch doesnt effect them either. Ford put out a technic bulletin about the 2018 ambient lighting. That there is no repair needed for 2018. That they only have one color, and cant be controlled......But they changed that in 2019 and brought back the single color, but a intensity slid control through the vehicle setting on sync3.

Thank you for all of your hard work in putting the tutorial together. It made it very easy for me to go in and turn on the auto folding mirrors, mercury style. Absolutly love that I was able to do this myself and not have to take it into the dealer.

Same issue
Hey Guys, anyone know what the deal is with the new version of the Forscan download? I have had it on my computer since 2016 but now I bought a new computer and went to download Forscan from the website and the download never finishes as my computer blocks it saying the download is a trojan virus? I tried following the link from the Forscan tutorial as well and same thing happens when i go to download. Windows 10

Send me a private message with your VIN and I'll help you out - sounds like you didn't code your VIN to the SODL/SODR modules. Also, let me know what year tail lights/BLIS modules you installed.

Really makes you wonder why all this great hidden stuff is there in the first place. Some of the simple things should have options in our UI, but....

As I await my 2020 Lariat I've ordered, I am excited about the options and mods that are available with Forscan. My question, does the software you download work with an older laptop running Windows 7? My main computer is a Win 10 Desktop, hate to carry that all the way to the truck.. thanks

Just wanted to know if it's still NOT possible to add the Lincoln mirror fold when locking the car to the menu. I'd like to have it on the menu, rather than having to use FORScan when you do or don't want it (like when traveling to a cold place). Thank you.
