FORScan - software to enable/disable features in your truck

lol yes 5753 - i fat fingered that on my phone.... anyway it looks like my 3.4 upgrade only includes voice files for American English. I guess 3.3 had more language files available such as UK etc. I don't have nav but am hoping 5753 allows me to access the music library via carplay while driving. right now it locks me out to only select "recently played".

It is the only time it shows up on my 2019 but I'm sure there is code that could be changed as the speed limit is displayed on your Sync display with Nav page or home with small nav page without having it set for navigating.

Some great info there that many people have been looking for. I forget what setting my 2019 truck was but setting the equalizer to 0 improved the sound quality immensely. Setting on the truck at the front and sounding like completely muffled garbage, you couldn’t hear any sound from the tweeters or any frequencies above about 4K hertz. With a sub woofer covering the bottom octaves, equalizer changes in for scan make a bigger difference than two front speakers do, to a point.
EQ setting "1" sounds good. it is balanced and slightly cuts down bass signal from front speakers. it is also a bit muted on highs. this is the factory setting for this specific ACM.
EQ "0" was very reduced on rear speaker sound. it cuts them down to more of a midbass, and the output volume is greatly reduced.
EQ 2,3,4 are similar on the reduced rear sound output, it just does not sound right to me
EQ 5, 7 and 8 are all decent. it is similar to 1 but I would say each has a bit more midrange gain. it is worth trying. I would say 5 is closest to 1 but slightly more mid.
EQ 9 has the most overall sound output. it is full bass to fronts and significantly more upper range to rears along with bass. fronts are very bright and not attenuated like 1 is. If I were running aftermarket speakers of better quality / sensitivity I'd want to try this setting. it definitely has more midrange gain as well.
conclusion, i need to see how each sounds while driving, but I would lean towards using 1, 5, 9 or 8 as first choices. I think 1 is the "cleanest" to full volume even with treble slider all the way up, mid slider 2/3 of the way up, and bass slider 3/4 of the way up. add a sub to this and perfect.
I think 8 is like 1 but with more midrange gain. it will clip at full volume and with bass/mid/treble settings turned up.
9 is the most raw output and to me this seems like a full range setting. it will definitely clip into max vol. it has the most "thump" hands down. and the most treble. i might suggest that the distortion towards max has something to do with the crap stock speakers, they have poor db sensitivity and are not optimal. will test when i install new speakers. I would bet that installing decent Focal or other good brand with 92db sensitivity, 50w-75w max rating would be louder at lower setting point on the volume wheel, and with less distortion / ringing.
For the F/R fader settings I have found that fading towards rear 1 or 2 clicks is optimal for front seating position and gives better blend between the fronts and rears, warms up the sound and adds bass without needing to bump the bass slider towards max.
If you really want to hear the differences, when you test each one put the fader all the way to rear. that is where I was hearing a lot of change. 9 makes the biggest change on the fronts in ref to not attenuating bass / treble.

Got my center stack display up and working. cool stuff ;-) a couple of things displaying but not operational. i do have these features enabled in my truck, and hard buttons for decent control, traction control. any ideas on what I am missing in settings? I did reset the APIM afterwards.
control is grayed out, or control does not work when pressing it
Hill descent control - grayed out, pressing it does nothing
Auto S/S - active but control does not work. it shows "on" but i actually have this set to disabled in BCM. maybe that is what is messing it up?
Traction control - grayed out, pressing it does nothing
Remote Start setup: Climate Control "auto / last" selections are grayed out and neither one shows selected. However, 'duration' and 'activate remote start' both work

odd- what are all these extra data rows in the ACM when exporting AB from Forscan? this is from the 2019 K series ACM. these rows do not show up in forscan asbuilt config editor, but they are written out when I do a 'save all'. I edited the "G" to a "0" and inserted a space for easier reading. I'm using the latest build of Forscan.

Is there a way to add EQ settings to Sync3 (B&O system) on my 2018 Platinum? I don't want to mess with Sync 3.4, since I'd void the warranty, and my APIM already acted out once, so it's possible to have issues again. Don't think so, but just in case
. Thank you.
