I have a 2013 XLT FX4 that I just completed a SYNC 2 upgrade on and have a few issues.

Anyone know how to enable the outside temp to be displayed next to the clock on the top of the screen? Mine just has the time displayed. I have been searching around and do not see this mentioned anywhere. Never mind, fixed with a SYNC Update!

Also I noticed I have the sound EQ enabled on the screen but the buttons don't do anything. I click on the arrows to adjust and it beeps but the values do not change. Can this be fixed also?

How do I get rid of the 911 assist? It keeps popping up every time I start the truck. I don't need the feature, just want to disable it. Never mind, fixed with a SYNC Update!

Another quick question, if im taking my truck for an oil change. Do I have to set everything back to stock? As in take off the forscan changes I made.

Nope, never need to restore.

If for some reason they need to flash a module due to TSB or whatever, your values will be reset by them at that time (by nature of the flash). You will use your back up copies to restore the modules back to the state you prefer.

I for the life of me cant disable the chime, IPC 720-01-02 XXXX X2XX

I have tried to change it a few times and nothing is happening. 2019 Platinum, and I am using the "As Built As" or whatever it is, but I have 3 IPC modules.

Has anyone been able to disable the chime?

There are different chimes for different conditions. Which one are you trying to disable? Door open? seatbelt? engine on fire?
