Thats impressive because I was under the assumption you had a head start based on your comments from a few months ago. With that in mind, it is even more impressive considering UCDSYS has no F150 profiles and I assume you intend to map out the entire thing yourself with perhaps some but very little help.

Default 2019 XLT Hill Descent Forscan Help?

I have added the hill descent switch to my 2019 XLT 5.0 but don't see anything in the forscan spreadsheet that matches my as built data. My as built ABS module configuration for 760-03-01 is 4100 AC
Does anyone know what should be changed to enable the hill descent switch?

Thanks,
Jeff V

I personally don't know what is so great about hill descent mode. I have it factory and have tried it on Powder Mountain Road (grade varies from 11% to 14%) and it heats up and shuts itself off within a mile or so. And that's with no trailer attached on a Lariat 3.5 EcoBoost. Am I missing something or using it wrong?

Not sure about the terrain in your area but I live in Florida and it works great here.

Hill descent is finally working properly!
Thank you Livinitup for your quick reply and all you do for the F150 and Forscan communities!

No offense Robbie but I've lived in Florida. The highest elevation is 345 feet ASL, average is 100 feet. I'm descending from 8900 feet to 4900 feet in a 6 mile stretch and it's the steepest state highway in Utah. Brake failure is a leading cause of accidents and deaths on this road among people who don't understand the need to gear down while descending. Using hill descent here should be a no-brainer, but the system fails miserably, IMHO.

I don’t think you are using it for what it’s designed for. I thought it was for off-roading.
