If you want to see if hooking up the trailer changes BCM programming, read the BCM without the trailer connected, then connect the trailer and read it again and see if anything changed. That would be a good start.

Parallels is another program like Boot Camp where you can install a Windows operating system.

I hear you!!! Yes, you install it on a Mac and it will allow you to install Windows and run them side by side. So you can run both operating systems at the same time and switch back and forth. And it's pretty cheap for the most part..........like $80.00

Good luck!

My question is have you found the settings for the digital speedometer in the instrument cluster? Being in Germany I have that displayed and I leave it on Km/H, but after I turn off the truck and it sits for a few minutes it always reverts back to MPH. All I have to do is press ok on the steering wheel but it would be nice if it stayed the way it was. Another bit of information is if I change all my settings to Km it will show my DTE and Avg Km/L but the digital speedometer stays in MPH unless manually changed. Thanks for all your hard work.

If the instrument panel is from a U.S. truck, the digital speedo will always revert back to mph after turning truck off/on. If it's from a Canadian truck it will revert back to Km/H. There is no FORScan changes that can overcome this. Only way around that is to either buy the corresponding panel cluster or sending it off to someone who can re-program the odometer like Anthony whose member name here on forums is Carcorrection; I believe he can also do this kind of programming with his equipment.
