I tried text edit, and open office - they don't have the correct format to view without a bunch of gibberish.

Default Parkout enable

I'm not sure if my testing changed the parking assist text from teal to black or if it was the sync 3 2.2 update; regardless of that, here is something which may be of use to some of you:

I got park-out to finally work after reading one of DanMc85's 2017 related Fusion posts over at the other side of the internet.

I moved my fleet truck around and tested parking between it in the yard a few different ways.

APIM:

7D0-04-01: 0007 E4

PAM:

736-04-01: 0740 2002 A7

736-05-01: 3FFD 3300 58

*Further real world testing required to find adverse affects of moding 736-05-01, I'm not convinced so many characters in that string need to be edited.

**Try at your own risk

For the record it's still easier to use your eyes and mirrors, but I'm impressed that it worked as well as it did. Perpendicular park doesn't seem to rely on the parking lines either. I say that because it can't where I am, there is too much snow in the lot. It may park itself better once the cameras can pick up on the lines, but I won't be able to test that until Spring (in Alberta).

I use bootcamp for Forscan. But mistakenly deleted some of my saved AB data. I can view it fine on the Motorcraft website, but would like to save & view it if I ever need to change something back.

This is what I did.

From the as built site I did a select all and then copy.

Open Numbers, grab a spreadsheet and do a paste.

This will put everything in the same column.

Then comes the laborious part. Separating all the data into its own column with each address and data on its own line. A PITA for sure, but worth the effort, at least for me.

That is the exact code that the 2017 Fusion uses... Changing the D to an F also adds park assist automatic braking support. However, I don't think it is enabled in the firmware as I could not get it to work.

Edit: Just noticed you posted and pulled that from my Park Assist post lol... well that explains that haha.

So fun fact... all the Sync 3 APIM As-Built Data changes made in FORScan are syncing to Ford when you do the WiFi check for updates or use FordPass lol. It doesn't show on the download ab website, but it does if IDS is used to pull the ab file which it gets from a different location.

I thought that was interesting when I was told about that.

Nice, yea it always shows the green, yellow, red grid and if you look closer you can see the white line overlay. The overlay moves when I turn the steering wheel to show where the car is going to end up. Not sure if yours is the same or not on the F150.

The F150's have the transparent lines that move, but not the color red indicator blocks near the bumper. I'm also not sure why the text color changed but that's minor. I'm going to re test and see if I can get auto brake support to work, although just thinking about that I would have to assume ABS edits are needed also.

I must ask, are you retired? how can you be everywhere on the internet at the same time haha

Those blocks are my rear park aid blocks... they light up when my car is approaching an object.

Yea you are right on the ABS stuff... Curious if it uses the same brake settings as the adaptive cruise control.

Haha nope, not retired... I am in my 30's, would be nice though lol... I never put my phone down.

Also, the F150's have the trailer hitch line-up black dotted indicator, so there must be a way to configure vehicle specific guide lines. I know currently my colored lines are calibrated to match mirror to mirror width. I think all of these configurations are in the camera module somewhere.
