And speaking of the darkside, has anybody figured out how to increase the on time for the perimeter lightning timeout on 2017s? 25 seconds is just not long enough for me. I would prefer 60 seconds or so (unless I was at a campground...)

right now my 726-32-01 is xxxx xxxx 19xx

I've changed the 19 to other hex values with no effect.

Having just spent the last 45 minutes going through this thread to find my answer and not finding it....

Regarding the 12V outlets. If I disable the Powerpoint timeout (which I did) isn't that supposed to allow the 12V outlets to always be on? Which is what I'd like to be able to do, not have to turn the key on and have the 12V outlets work.

I'm a camper, too, and enjoy being able to see stars without being blinded by bright lights. It would be nice if that could somehow be toggled in the UI, after being enabled with FORScan.

I want to express my appreciation for the discovery efforts of everyone here. I for one, would be unwilling to experiment just to find out what something changed, nor would I know where to start. But I have benefited this weekend by enabling Lincoln-style auto-fold on my monster-sized power tow mirrors, displaying temps above the engine and transmission temp gauges, global window open/close (only the front, which have the buttons), and auto-relock if I don't open the door on my 2016 Lariat.

I'm baffled as to why someone would want to disable DRLs. While I disagree with the value of turning off the seat belt warning, at least that's a personal choice that affects only you. Turning off DRLs affects the safety of other people.

About the only way you can get one to stay on without ever going off is to put a jumper in fuse box under the hood.

This is the only one that truly works which I just did this weekend.
Its an easy fix.

Wasn't disabling the PP timeout & disabling BMS another option that truly works?

Maybe it's just my truck but I can't get the cargo lamp to turn on when I'm driving. Something in forscan that can do it?

Powerpoint timeout disabled: What does this do?

I'd love to have the 12V always on through FOREScan. If not, I'll most likely do the jumper.

I took my truck to the dealer. Asked them to activate "aux sub" and "super crew 7 speaker with Kicker"

picked it up. Sub harness Didn't work.

Installed Forscan. Setting 1 wasn't enabled. Dealer hadn't activated the aux sub.

Setting 2 was on super crew 7 speaker with Kicker.

Reading throught this thread, some people like the sound better with setting 2 left at "not configured". That's what I want to do, but I don't have that option. All I have is super cab or super crew options.

I want it like it was before the dealer changed it. I want the option to leave setting 2 as "not configured

No, even with BSM option disabled and PP time disabled it still would occasionally get shut off. I had both disabled for over a month and would still come out to the truck occasionally and it would be off. I also noticed when I would use the remote start it is off and turns on when I turn the key back on, although that is not such a big deal. These trucks almost need a two battery system, one for the electronics and one to start it.

What you're referring to as "not configured" is the EQ Selection # at 727-01-02 x*xx xx

If you want that value as it was before the dealership visit, put your VIN # in here and scroll down to that value and copy it and make the change in FORScan: https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt

The first time you visit the site above you'll need to set your country and a cookie will be set on your browser, then click the above link again to get to the VIN entry field.
