thanks!
I literally did this 2 days ago and posted about it on the Alberta F150 facebook page. You need to drive around for a while (5 to 10 km lets say), before TMPS corrects its own faults after making any edits. Also, anytime you change anything in the IPC the exact same thing will happen.

It's normal.

I know of one other person who has tried the mirror mod before on a 2016 had it work then and tried again on a 2017 with no success. both of those times it was with the tow mirrors and required relocating pins.

Unless if you are Eric, in which case I'm talking about you.

I was going to try it on my truck when the snow melts which at this years rate will be in July. I now have a 2017 with tow mirrors and a few guys up here at a Ford dealer have mentioned that door modules in 2017 are different than 2015 & 2016 but I haven't confirmed.

I agree bootcamp in theory should be the better way to go, but I haven't tried either. My mac mini isn't exactly mobile enough to experiment with. I just wanted to sort it out for others.
I'm using bootcamp but I think someone way back was using VM.

I used a VM without issue until I got my tablet.

I was using Parallels and XP3 on my MacBook until I bought a cheap W7 laptop a couple months ago.

Had to use the bluetooth within Parallels to connect to the obdII device.

Does anyone know if this requires any addtional module?
Thanks

maybe I'm using it wrong then. If I select a mirror and put it in reverse, it does tilt down to the saved position. Is that how it is supposed to work? Last vehicle that I had tilt mirrors in did it without selecting a mirror(though only the passenger mirror tilted).

If that's the case,

Yup, that's how it works. Just need to tap one or both mirror buttons just before OR after shifting into reverse. I like it this way, since when parallel parking I like the mirror down so I can see the curb & get within inches of it, but don't want it to tilt down if backing into say a spot in a parking garage.

This is only for trucks that shipped with remote tailgate release from the factory. Since I added the value to disable it, I also added the value to enable it.
