point us where to look for that? or has it been tested on a 150 already

If the problem wasn't caused by Forscan then yes they should. If ford always did the right thing and honored their warranty when they should then no they shouldn't be on the hook for it. Should Ford be on the hook cooled seats that don't work or for the BS denials of legitimate warranty claims? I'm a pretty honest guy and I try to do the right thing but I also believe in an eye for an eye, Ford won't get any sympathy from me.

Your issue may be separate, but you said you have no idea where to start. I'd start by going back on any recent ACM changes you might have made and leave the truck off for a while.

Also, when in it comes to computers, when in doubt, reboot.
That was it!! Thanks so much! It was driving me crazy. I must have disable the amp when trying to disable the fake engine noise. Thanks again!

U2100:00 Initial Configuration Not
Complete: No Sub Type

This DTC sets when the CCM configuration has not been
completed. CARRY OUT the PMI (when the original module is not
available) for the module in question as directed by the diagnostic
scan tool.

The BCM isn't toast and it could be a faulty part causing the DTC and nothing to do with FORScan. The guy in the other thread had his BCM replaced by dealership and got this same issue on the way home so it looks more and more like a faulty part and not FORScan. Anyways, this discussion is for the other thread: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/inter...cement-381060/

Yeah there's directions to carry out for U2100 for just about every module but in my case it's BCM, not CCM. I've already tried PMI & Module reprogramming in IDS on BCM and the DTC is persistent which leads me to believe it's some electrical fault causing the courtesy lights to stay on & pulsate. I'm going to use the section in the workshop manual on diagnosing courtesy lamps persistently on and hopefully that's why the DTC is persistent.

If it's back to 1 again you have the same permanent BCM DTC that a few of us have and there's no fixing it even with IDS (I've tried). If it's a 0 on the initial read DO NOT try writing a 1 there or it'll probably be permanent.
That is SlaveExists SCL Cfg... whatever that is. lol

The only way to get rid of a permanent DTC is to basically have a firmware flash go bad to where the module doesn't work... and access the bootloader and reflash the module. It completely resets and deletes all permanent DTCs. I did that with my PAM module when a U3000 wouldn't go away.... I don't recommend it, I discovered it by mistake. Some modules may not be so forgiving with recovery.

Are you talking about the white moving steering wheel lines when in reverse?
If so the as-built for that is in the PSCM.

If your IPC supports it: 720-01-01: xxxx xCxx xxxx
This will enable both Average Speed and Average RPM.

I'm thinking the "CL" part of that is Courtesy Lamp but just a guess.
