for all the ones that need help with forscan. i actually did a truck via team viewer. it does require you to get the elm and set up forscan with extended licence. you also need a windows laptop and good wifi.

preferred by me.
Amazon Amazon

so if you want a buddy system to learn how to do forscan changes to your truck pm me.

Thanks for the awesome write up, Livnitup. I just connected my truck to FORScan for the first time with no issues, instructions are clear and easy to follow. Time to back up some modules and then change some things around.

I think I'm definitely going to need to pick up a windows 10 tablet to keep in the truck.

What would you like to change and/or modify? look it up in the spreadsheet and write the changes. if you have any issues or questions come back here.

I'd like to shut off the double honk upon exiting the truck.

I've been gone awhile. What's the coolest FORScan development in the last few months? (read: I'm lazy)

I've done gauges, Lincoln fold mirrors, speedo calibration... PP timeout... some other stuff.

Look at line 40 of the Common tab on the spreadsheet. Then make the following change, hit write, ignore the warning about checksum and hit ok, then cycle off/on.

Double Horn Honk disable BCM 726-41-02 xxx0 xxxx xxxx
