Not that it will look bad on a lifted look, I just think the letters lend to that look a little better. Again that is just my opinion.

Finally got mine back and installed from the paint shop! Left the lights out since I am waiting to find the right white lights. Did the border and ford in color match then the honey comb in gloss black. Then they went over it with three coats of clear. I'll try to get some daytime shots tomorrow

I'm doing it. I just need to get the grille painted. I disassembled the LEDs last night and ordered ambers, because the boards I got are yellow. I'm going to paint the rim Magnetic, and the mesh black. I've held the grille up against the stock grille, and I don't think i would like an oval larger than 9". 13" would be way too big.
Incidentally, I saw a white 13th-gen truck on the highway last night that looked completely stock except for the Raptor-style grille with PTM letters. No lift, stock wheels and tires. It looked absolutely anemic. Bad.

Touch a 9V battery to the leads.
Incidentally, I will probably have leftover strip LEDs when I'm done with mine. I opened the back of the light housings with a Dremel. I'm installing a 1" strip in each housing, and each strip has 3 bright amber LEDs. I'll solder those to the provided harness and seal them up with hot glue.
I'll post pictures when I'm done.
