Received my Razer grille (same as in your "mock-up" picture) last week, have to take it in for Paint-to-Match in Blue Flame this week.
Since I'm using an OEM emblem without the plastic surround you normally have on an OEM grille, I thought the F-150 Ford emblem (9 inches wide) would be too small for the size of the honeycomb mesh, so I got a Super Duty emblem (13 inches wide).
I mocked them up on my grille and will go with the 13-inch emblem.
9-inch...
13-inch (not straight, but you get the idea for size comparison)...
love this!
is it on yet or still waitong waiting for paint? whats the plan for attaching the badge?

My paint guy said he would install the emblem for me. Likely won't have it back for a couple more weeks, but I'll be sure to take pictures of the method he used before installing the grille.
I actually cut a notch in the back of the emblem and attached it with a zip tie. It's secure and invisible. The better option, though, would be to use a sheet of plastic (like maybe a section of cutting board) and to use the factory nuts.
The ebay guy should have some more by this weekendish.
if one of his buyer didnt purchase 23 sets of letters, probably would still be available. Oh well, at least the letters hasnt been discontinued or anything
I just got my grille and letters. I took it to a friend of mine that owns a pro truck shop, he told me that he has done the front camera mod using a pop rivet and that the only thing that sucks is once you disconnect the camera that the computer has to be reflashed to recognize the camera again. Can anyone confirm this?
Love this look. Questions???? What type of cubes did you get? How are they mounted? How did you wire them into the interior? How do they look at night?

That is not consistent with my experience.
My display showed a blue screen while my camera was disconnected. I plugged it in, and everything was upside down. Because I'm an idiot and I installed the camera upside down. But it fits four different ways into the bracket, so I just flipped it around and everything was fine.
