On my sync 3 cluster, the vertical gear indicator disappeared (to the right of the tach) from view. How do I restore it? I think it's a button that I pushed by mistake on the console shifter. Thanks

Just play with it a little and you'll remember it forever. I had to figure the same thing out on my 2011... I believe it is in the manual. Once I turned it on and off on purpose a few times, no problem remembering how to do that.
I have no idea why one would want it off, or why it's possible to do that, especially by accident.

I wish they would make that a little more difficult to turn off. I turn mine off every once in a while, but just infrequently enough that I can't remember how turn it back on.

I've been using the +- to limit top gears since my trucks delivery 7 years ago. My indicator is on all the time. KM

With the "Wyoming headwinds" and the 6600 ft elevation, the 5.0 wouldn't hold it in 65 mph cruise in OD. The tow/ haul lock out button on the end of the signal stalk kept it from constant revving and shifting. Mileage not so good tho, only 12 mpg in 5th (of 6 in this model).

And to add insult Ford never mentions in the manual turning the entire 1-10 display on and off with one push of the button.
