Did those instructions really say to throw away the accordion blinds that are on the truck? Why would they put them there and then tell you to toss them? Do they get unavoidably damaged during removal?

I took mine in a few weeks ago for a list of problems. They "fixed" the clunking but it's back and worse than ever.
Throw away the accordion blinds?

They stay attached to the truck, only need to remove the top portion of the blind.

You will need a trim removal tool with the hooked end, to place behind the clipped side of that accordion lip, to pull it off, for access to the 8mm bolt behind. You will also need an extension to reach the bolts.

This weekend I had a chance to look into my roof noise. I ended up realigning both panels. I loosened the six torque screws/bolts that hold each of the two panels in place. I then repositioned the panels and retightend. I ended up raising the front panel slightly and also raising the front of the back panel as well. I drove the truck yesterday and to work this morning for a total of about 100mi. So far no noise. No creek of any kind. I purposely hit every bump that I know that usually causes the noise. I also flexed the body of the truck on a portion on my road and fields that give a good twist to the truck and still nothing. I am hopeful this is the fix. I will check back if it's not a success.

Anybody have contact info for Ford Canada? Taken my truck twice to the dealership to repair my drivers side mirror that vibrates/loose and they are saying Ford won't allow them to fix it. They said fords response was "the damage was caused from an impact not substantial enough to cause visual damage, but enough to cause internal damage". Like what the hell, Seriously I can't believe it. I baby all my vehicles!

Sorry for hijacking this thread, there is a lot of activity here and hoped somebody could help.
