You’re not weird at all. I like the look on black trucks and I particularly like them on my blue jeans rig. I was washing my truck one day and a guy, who owned the previous generation, pulled in to ask me my impressions on my aluminum truck. He had pulled his stickers ‘at purchase’ and after looking at mine, he stated if his had looked like mine he would have left them on. I love how the red works with the blue jeans.
To each their own, however.
As mentioned earlier, some bed decals look better than others. The 2018 STX with black and red, for one, is a bit cartoonish for me and I had the dship remove them. The FXs don't look too bad, I guess, but I'd still remove them. I worked for a company who had them removed from our 4x4s for theft reasons. I don't know if that's really a thing or not. I thought the truck looked better without them anyway.
