Default Seat Cover Recommendations?

Hey all - 2015 SuperCrew XLT with cloth seats. Looking for seat cover recommendations. Trying to keep the seats in decent shape and protect them - kids/dog/etc.

What seat covers have been good for you? I'd like something good looking and excellent protection.

We are having our first kid in November. Looking at these for the rear seats. Then putting the car seat over the covers.

Easiest solution would be to go on Ebay and purchase a complete set of take off OEM seat covers. Cost should be under $150 shipped. Then box them up and place them is a closet somewhere.

Next spray a coating of Scotch Guard fabric protectant on the covers that you have in your truck for an added layer of protection. In a few years if your original covers are looking on the rough side just replace them with the OEM take offs that you were smart enough to purchase and keep on hand for such a day.

Yes, replacing the seat covers is a DIY job.

Coverking makes customized seat covers so you can order a set that exactly fits your current one to make it look very neat. It also has options for cover materials such as leather, neoprene, or mesh etc.

I ordered one set but has to wait a month for delivery because the customer service told me it takes time to make the customized version for my truck. I am not in hurry so this is fine to me. If you want something as quick as possible you can try a cheap and generic one at walmart while waiting for the customized version.

Another benefit for customized covers is I can add a memory foam or cool gel pad between the cover and factory seat so it is more comfortable and cool in hot summer of texas. Of course you can do this with generic covers but the customized just fits better so it looks more factory and tight enough to avoid any movement of the pad.

I have a CoverKing's rear seat cover.
They have several kinds of materials and fit great, I got the breathable Mesh material.
I'm happy with it.

I was in the same situation a few days ago. I looked into weathertech, but didnt like that they werent really "fitted", carhartt but they didnt have black, and a few others that just didnt look right. I just wanted something that looked decent and protected against my kids spilling stuff. I stumbled upon Rough Country covers. They have excellent reviews on amazon, so I pulled the trigger. The rear cover is fitted and allows the 60/40 rear seat to function normally. $99 with 2 day shipping.. Really excited for it to show up so I can install.
