Default Show me your iPad / Tablet Mounts

I am trying to figure out what to do in regards to getting a tablet in my truck. I don't want / like the T Style radios as they seem so outdated in their software... I think I would rather add an ipad to the dash. Would like some inspiration please.

I see there was not a definitive answer to this post. I am interested as well for my 11" ipad pro. Looking to mount in front of the sync3 screen and be able to remove it or swing it out of the way when needed. I remember seeing a rube goldberg device a couple months ago, but can't find that post.

This might work for you... add a RAM arm and cradle for positioning.

That is exactly what I wanted. Thank you.

Yes this will work. I didn't want to mount to floor and didn't want to drill in the dash. Thanks

I ordered it and then went on Amazon to order the parts that Built Right did not stock. Couldn't find an ipad holder that I wanted to see 100% of the time when the ipad was not in use. So I ordered two 1" ball mounts. I will attach one to the back of the ipad with magnets. Glue a couple magnets to the ipad and the ball mount - then pop off the ipad when not in use and I just have the back side of the ball mount left instead of a massive ipad holder. Less intrusive.

Looks great, but I use a dashmat on my dashboard. Practically a necessity here in Arizona. Cool idea though.

I'm still hunting around for the best way to mount my Ipad Pro 9.7", (with the Outterbox case).
