I’m drawing a blank on how to successfully get it to add a vehicle to FordPass and link it so the remote features work. But I’m getting this message

The 2019 "K" series TCU's also operated on HS4. Downgrading it to firmware of that of a 2018 "J" got it to work properly on HS3.

The 2020 "L" series TCU's also operate on HS4 but have much more functionality including having a microphone, being tied into the vehicle speakers, and may have battery backup. I haven't looked too much into it but thinking has to do with 911 assist. I don't know if downgrading the firmware the "J" will work to get them to function on HS3 or if its even a good idea considering the added complexity of the features they have. Only way to know is to test.

I know the 2020 Explorer tcu I have is communicating (at least somewhat) on HS3. However it has a gazillion more lines of data than anything I’ve found so far.

Same behavior as the he 19 "K" series had. Wouldn't properly work until the firmware was downgraded to "J" series.

do you have FORScan that can flash? Before you flash can you post a screen shot of the firmware that it has currently, I am doing some test that require the extra lines, or if you want to sell it to me or let me barrow it, lol

The TCU will take longer than 2 minutes, I can almost guarantee that. One of the firmware files needed is ~40-45 MB alone. Takes me 45-50 minutes on average to flash mine with UCDS.
