Thanks. last night it wouldn't let me write that change but this morning I could. Still no activation button in the app though.

I do have a modem ESN appearing in Sync 3 so that's a good sign

Im sure we could, but that's the point. At how much time did I actually lose money because I could have been doing billable work at the office instead of creating a harness that you still do better than I would have.

Well I got lucky since my 302a was already pre wired.

You said you had the smaller sync screen? I've never seen anyone try it on that until you. I was under the initial impression that you had the large sync 3 screen.

Makes me wonder if a master reset command sent only from a specific Sync 3 APIM (specific operating System) has the ability to delete all previous users on Ford's end.

Maybe try to master reset it by connecting it to a Sync 3 equipped donor vehicle first, get it to work in that donor vehicle, then reset it one more time after you can confirm it works. Plug it back into your vehicle and try again. I wouldn't give up, I'm thinking there must be some sort of unconventional workaround.

I am working on adding HS4CAN to my 2014 ... I have a 2020 GWM that I’m putting in, if anyone has a 2020 K or L TCU for me to try.
