So I do not need to get someone to program this for me if I have the latest version of Forscan and a 2015 F150?

No, I have a 2015 and installed the TCU with no issues.

As you have been advised now several times... the firmware on the K needs to be downgraded. It will not show the correct status.

This tcu came out of a 2018 F-150 is my only argument. What wouldn’t make it work in a 2019 F-150?

My TCU that came out of a 19 F-150 is JL3T-14G229-CM... so how a K TCU would end up in an 18 is beyond me...

the seller made an honest mistake or intentionally lied. Either way it’s not the proper unit. Part number suggests it’s probably from a 2019 Fusion.

So, How can I downgrade the firmware? Will I be able to get the vin for activating the hotspot?
