Thank you for the guidance, appreciated. At one point I might want to program an 8" screen gauge cluster from a Lariat for my vehicle and mileage. but I'm still a long ways away from attempting that.

Just a quick update on my situation. I got nowhere trying to flash my APIM, I suspect it was because I was using my OBDlink and not something better. Josh at FLVPmods.com (who sold me the TCU) saw my post and offered some help. I had to go out of town on business so I shipped it to him and he got it working and back to me before I returned from my trip. I just reinstalled it and everything is working great!

His rates are very reasonable, I definitely recommend his services.

Thanks to everyone that contributes to this thread. I love this stuff. Active Cruise Control is next on my list

Heres's a GOOD one folks - the nav apim i installed yesterday has wifi hotspot active with working LTE service. i am surfing on it as i type this from the truck. lol!!! as for speed it is as fast as my iphone LTE - I thought the provisioning of hotspot service came via the TCU registration. ?????

Then your TCU has it enabled. The hotspot is all in the TCU. The APIM is only used to change the setting for the SSID and password and such.

Putting my interior back together after installing the new dual HVAC box and discovered that the coaxial cable that runs from the rear of the truck from the TCU to the passenger side by the BCM where it get connected to the coaxial from the roof antenna 📡..... has an attachment point near C210, C211, and C212. Almost too perfect. Lol just an observation that I wanted to share...

Yeh that's what I thought too- when i first installed the TCU with my non nav APIM, I had hotspot service for about an hour then it got shut off. it remained off (AFAIK) until I installed this new navi apim. I connected to it just to make sure that portion of the new apim was functional- imagine my surprise when i saw the service was up. granted I had not checked it for a few weeks after it got shut off so who knows? lol. it could be off again any time... not that it really matters.

After I got my TCU installed and authorized the FordPass app had the option to set scheduled starts which I was using, that has since disappeared and I never had the oil life on the app. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue and how to correct?

I had both when i first authorized with the non nav apim, although the oil life in the app never worked and showed "--". Since swapping to the nav apim and re-authorizing, the oil life is gone and scheduled starts is gone.
