All is complete up and running and showing all details in the app. Boosted greygoose guided me on some things I was stumped on and up and running for about a week or little more now. All data showed up within 30min on my app. Thanks for the help though but all is complete and working with greygoose test port for my ‘18.

Default Brackets...

Is there a part number for the mounting brackets for the TCU? I have a JL3T-14G229-AG.

Thanks, you literally made short work of that install. Your TCU also was up and running without much of anything... thats nuts!

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who contributed on this thread. I just got everything working on my 2018 F-350 and these posts made this retrofit extremely easy. I got ahold of a TCU from a 2018 F-150 (JL3T-14G229-AM). I programmed in according to brandon86305 on the parallel thread Sync Connect on 2017 and trucks that didn’t come with it!. Still don't have oil life showing but I will try plugging in my phone to my truck tomorrow. A couple leassons learned from me that hopefully can help someone else:

1. I originally bought a TCU with part number HS7T-14G087-ED. This is apparently not a sync connect modem and won't work for this mod.
2. I spent most of my time trying to get my new OBDLink cable to be seen by my computer. I'm running Windows 10 through Bootcamp on a newer MacBook that only has USB 3.0 ports. In order to get the cable to work I needed to route it through a powered USB 2.0 hub. After that it worked with no issues.
3. After getting the TCU installed and making the appropriate Forescan updates, I waited probably about 30 minutes and deleted the FordPass app on my phone, reinstalled it, and added my truck just to see what would happen. It let me activate Sync Connect after just that amount of time. That may help expedited the activation process, but I'm not entirely sure.

Default Jl3z-18812-ac

Does anyone have a spare JL3Z-18812-AC they could sell me? It's the splitter cable with the two connectors to the antenna. I tried ordering from Tasca but they are on backorder from ford and this is the last cable I need to get started.

Not that I'm aware of. 3M VHB tape or 10 lbs rated Dual Lock does the trick quite well though.

Hi to all
I'm trying to integrate K series TCU to my 2016 car. Unfortunately downgrade of the firmware not help me - TCU is always in 'Unprovisioned state'.
Next steps I have in my mind:
1. Install the latest Sync 3. By the latest I mean 2019 or 2020 year of production. It has already arrived at me.
2. Install the new Gateway module and add HS4.

Can you please elaborate on those options? Maybe I overcomplicate this simple process. Also if someone has a diagram, which shows what other modules connected to HS4 I'll appreciate getting it.

It is 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid. I know that you will ask - what I'm doing on this forum But unfortunately there is not a lot of information on other forums

Right now I'm searching place where to buy wiring diagrams for 2019 Ford Fusion and how to add HS4 CAN to my car.
Gateway is on the way to me

I have zero experience with hybrids but considering that model had a TCU available that is a completely different model I wonder if you have to use that specific TCU on it and the connect one doesn't work? Just a thought.
